Scholl Bros BBQ in Paris

I had the best smoked turkey here that I have EVER had!Seriously great BBQ sauce, too!Really . . . You HAVE to try the turkey!I don’t eat red meat so all my BBQ experience is with turkey and chicken and this is truly the best EVER!

The ribs were decent. The sausage was good. The brisket and turkey were excellent. The sides were fair at best. The Mac & Cheese was from a can. The Potato salad was ok and the coleslaw had an unusually sweet taste.

I was excited to try their food. Oh how dissapointing my ribs were. Tasted like gas grill was rushed for product. $26 for a full slab, ain't worth $10. All I tasted was gas and and a hint of smoke flavor. I could blow these guys outa the water in my own back yard. Thanks for nothing!

It was very good BBQ! That sampler platter is perfect size for 2 or even three.

Wow! A lot of bbq places throughout Texas - Really hard to get that full 5 star. But when all things considered, value for your money - this place has it. The brisket sandwich combo was massive and the loaded baked potato casserole was delicious! The BBQ sauce was also great as well.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. 4 meat sampler was definitely Texas style in size - shared with 2 adults and still had leftovers. I suggest if you're looking for a budget friendly BBQ choose the sampler and you can't go wrong! The meat was delicious, I only gave 4 stars because the sliced beef was not as moist as expected. I had to make the meat more moist with excessive BBQ sauce. Preferably my beef comes pre-moistened next time.

Those ribs were way better than Rudy's BBQ.. ..

Amazing BBQ place. Rivalling many of my own local favorites back home. The menu board is a bit on the confusing side, but the employee recommendations were spot on and I'm not sure you could go wrong with this kind of food. I recommend the brisket and ribs for sure as well as the potato casserole.

I remember going with my granddad to pick up BBQ in a brown paper bag. This place is close to that moment. Not much to look at on the inside. In fact the less you look the better your ribs or slice beef will taste. I recommend both. And to Scholl's a good cleaning now and again.

The bbq was decent but unfortunately the whole experience was completely ruined by the extremely poor service. Our meat was placed on trays on top of the counter and sat there for an extreme amount of time until someone came along and gave us our sides. The food was bone cold by the time we sat down. We ended up spending a disgusting amount of money (67 dollars for 3 people at lunch) and no matter how I add up the cost for what we got, I can’t make it balance with what they charged us. The worst part of the meal was that it’s 52 degrees out and the ac was blowing cold air. So to sum this up... cold/dirty building, cold food, extreme prices, and mediocre bbq.

MY SISTER LOVES THE BRISKET. I LOVE THE HAM AND BAKED BEANS.

Their claim is that the beef is so tender that you can eat it without teeth. Wow! Great tender barbeque, right on Lamar Ave. In Paris, Texas.

Really nice place. Friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and not much expensive. Me and my family enjoyed the lunch.

This place has a cool factor of 12. The food is simply amazing. If I ever needed a reason to move to Paris TX this would be it. The staff was so helpful, kind and courteous. Cafeteria style seating. Bathrooms we're clean. Plenty of parking

Great catering and good food

The nice lady at the Holiday Inn Express recommended Scholl Brothers. She was spot on. Had the stuffed baked potato with turkey and a couple of ribs. It was awesome. Not too Smokey and so tender. The staff was really nice too. I will swing by here again on my next trip through Paris Texas.

By far the best BBQ around. Just wish they had onion rings, but the best 2 sides are the baked potato casserole and the corn casserole.....5 plus stars for food and staff

Real good barbeque in the pricey side but the sides are huge! The green beans were great! Lots of flavor. Free ice cream!

Believe the hype. This place has quick service and some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Will plan to stop by here for lunch every time I head to Oklahoma from home.

There's 3 kinds of BBQ: 1) Good, 2) Great, and 3) Euphoric. Scholls is definitely a category 2, and possibly a 3.

I'm new to north Texas, and have been searching for good BBQ for months now... I FINALLY FOUND IT! The food, staff, and atmosphere were all spot on!! We loved it and can't wait to go back!

Its was only my first time having Scholl Bros but Ive had quite a few Brisket sandwiches in my time. But Scholl Bros beat all of them hands down. Best Brisket sandwich I have ever had.

I was disappointed when i ordered a brisket plate. The portion was very small...over 10.00 a plate..you should get what you pay for. Thats how they making a huge profit for being stingy.

Prices are great, especially with the amount of food you get! I like alot of pepper, but the meats don't have much, if any. The flavor was still good! Turkey was the best, out of the brisket and ribs I had. Staff was friendly and I appreciated the gentleman's advice on getting the turkey! Great experience all around

I usually have the two-meat plate:• sausage and sliced beef• with two sides, the potato casserole and red beans.OMG, my mouth is watering while I’m writing this review. Their sauce is slightly sweet, tangy & a bit hot… makes me drool, thinking about it.Well, don’t just sit there reading, get in the car go on in to Scholl’s… BBQ’s awaitin!No wifi.

While in Texas visiting came across Scholl Bros Bar BQ and I must say that their food was amazing. My husband and I both had the turkey, ribs, potato casserole, Mexican corn and for desert pecan cobbler. Here from Memphis TN and will be coming back to enjoy your delicious food. Also your staff was great!

The food is always good.. They mix BBQ sauce into their chopped beef, that's a little different. Their food is not cheap but is well worth the price.

Absolutely the best BBQ one can get. They offer top meats and delicious sides. A warm welcoming place with very affordable prices. The ice cream cone for desert is on the house!

They have went down hill! My husband and I went and they were out of sausage plus the beans they had to choose from look really really dry like they had been sitting there since the morning. The bar where they keep the pickles was not full and also dirty! The Troy built wasn’t even as good as it usually is.

I was craving barbecue for lunch yesterday and decided to try this place out as I’ve never eaten there before and heard good things about the food. I was very disappointed when I picked up my order. The Pittsburgh hot links were oily, over cooked and quite frankly tasted disgusting. The macaroni and cheese was runny, watery, and tasteless, and it was obvious it’s not homemade but instead the frozen kind. The potato casserole was okay but nothing to write home about. My order total was $12.42 which is expensive for the quality of food I received. That was my first and last time eating at this restaurant and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to family and friends. On another note...I ended up going to Phat Phil’s and had the best chopped brisket sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Will definitely be visiting them again!!

Reheated meat, which is room temperature at best, that is Never properly cut. Same with side dishes. This is "franchise bbq" food all day...think Dickies leftovers

This place is a lil overated its expensive if paris had a dickies this place wouldnt exist...

Scholl Bros is my go-to any time I have an event that needs to be catered. I love going here for dinner as well. It’s clean and the bbq is always on point! The staff is super friendly and so very helpful which is a rare experience in Paris! I love their potatoes! The brisket is very tender, smoky, and full of flavor. It practically melts in your mouth! I tried the turkey my husband ordered - it was divine. Ribs are splendid. It’s all good here!!!

Came for lunch. The brisket looked good behind the glass. Lots of color and dark bark. Ordered moist but they shaved off all the crust. Tons of fat came off. Now left with super soft brisket....but sadly no taste. I will say very edible but bland. The BBQ sauce gave it a bit of flavor with a slightly sweet and smoky flavor. So I give brisket 2 out of 5 as it was over cooked and fell to pieces. At least not dry and tough so that's positive. The star were the sides. The Mexican corn was nice and spicy and the Cole slaw was super crisp with an amazing fresh taste. It was exactly like sucking on a sugar cane stick. I enjoyed it but if you are not a sweet tooth, you will go into shock. The sides added another star so overall 3 out of 5. One more thing. You get ice cream after your meal but only if you eat all your goodies.

Well, its just my opinion but I believe that good bar-b-q don't need bar-b-q sauce to make it taste good, the flavor is in the meat, also they had no beer, I mean it was good, I have just eaten at better places
